RYAN ONDO

Ryan Ondo is a cinematographer and visual artist raised in Tokyo and Hong Kong, now based in New York City. His work centers on the intersection between technical image, soul, and harmony.

Drawing from his Japanese heritage, Ryan’s work explores the liminal spaces between physical forms—where human connection, faith, and nature subtly converge.

Through intentional use of framing and color, he seeks to shed pretenses and reveal unseen identities that quietly influence daily life.

His recent accolades include a nomination for the New York International Shorts Film Festival for "I Wanna Wear Your Skin" and recognition at the Academy-accredited Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia for "Tokyo Scenes."
